The fully automatic RDU3-A demagnetizing unit consists of an electronic unit and handling by means of a conveyor belt. It is fitted with a pneumatic assembly for coil height adjustment and for the application of a load during demagnetization.

The unit has been designed to demagnetize large-scale rings: 120 - 420 mm in diameter with heights of 20 - 200 mm, but the versatility of the machine guarantees complete adaptability to many different applications.

Functioning: the ring is transported on the conveyor belt, it is measured and moved to the centre of the coil. At this phase, the belt stops, the coil descends pneumatically applying a load to the piece to be demagnetized. The coil rises and a signal indicates that a new piece can be placed on the belt. The conveyor belt starts again and the ring is off-loaded.
